Application Recommendations.
1. Area to be patched should be clean. Sweep to remove dirt and debris.
2. Areas that exceed 1 to 1-1/2 inches in depth should be filled first with crushed rock and compacted by tamping to within 1 – 1-1/2 inches of the finished level.
3. Apply enough Saturock to stand about 1/2 inch higher than the finished level.
DO NOT APPLY SATUROCK MORE THAN 1-3/4 OR LESS THAN 1/2 INCH THICK BEFORE COMPACTION.
4. Compact Saturock by hand tamping. A car or truck wheel may be used, but first cover patch with plywood or paper.
5. Patched area can be driven on immediately, but best to wait approximately 14 days for a full cure.
6. Prolonged life of the patch is enhanced by an application of liquid asphalt or sealer after about 60 days to allow proper curing.
